Navy veteran assistance

Updated: Dec 20, 2025

Veterans Support Network Inc. was honored to assist another veteran in need. We recently helped Stephanie Williamson, a U.S. Navy veteran, with an auto payment to help her stay on track during a difficult time.

Stephanie joined the U.S. Navy on June 30, 1990, just three days after graduating from high school on May 25, 1990. She completed Navy Boot Camp in Orlando, Florida, and then attended Navy culinary (cook) school in San Diego, California, where she trained for seven weeks.

Her first duty station was Naval Station Mayport, Florida, where she worked at the base galley known as The Oasis. Later that fall, she was transferred to the USS Canopus (AS-34). Stephanie enlisted as an E-1 and served honorably.

Veterans Support Network Inc. is proud to stand beside veterans like Stephanie and support them when they need it most.

Thank you, Stephanie for your service to our great nation!🇺🇸

And thank you to all of our supporters and donors that made this happen.
